This document is provided for general information. Voltera Global may update it; please contact support with any questions.
1. Who we are
This policy explains how Voltera Global ("we", "us", "our") handles personal data when you visit www.volteraglobal.eu (the "Website") or use the Voltera Global member platform (the "Platform"). We are responsible for the personal data described here. For any privacy question or request, contact us at support@volteraglobal.eu.
2. Our approach
The Platform is built so that we need as little personal data as possible:
- Your account is identified by a public crypto-wallet address.
- You sign in by signing a message with your wallet, so we never create or store a password.
- We never receive or store your wallet's recovery phrase or private keys.
- We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics, and we do not sell personal data.
3. Data we collect
| Category | Examples | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Account identifier | Your wallet address, and the internal account number linked to it | You, when you connect and sign with your wallet |
| Contact & profile details | Name, e-mail address, mobile number, and optional profile details such as country and a profile picture | You, at registration or in your profile |
| Network relationships | Your sponsor and placement, and the members you referred | You and your sponsor, at registration |
| Transaction records | Deposits (including on-chain transaction hashes), packages, incomes, internal transfers, Yield Settlement requests and payouts | Your use of the Platform and public blockchain data |
| Support & contact messages | Support tickets and replies, contact-form messages (name, e-mail, message), e-mails you send us, and gallery images and titles you upload | You |
| Technical & security data | IP address, last sign-in time and IP, browser and device information in server logs, request timestamps, and rate-limit counters | Automatically, when you use the Website |
| Applications | CVs and cover letters sent for a role | You, by e-mail |
We do not ask for sensitive data (such as health or biometric data). Please do not include it in messages or tickets.
4. How we use your data and why
| Purpose | Legal basis (where applicable) |
|---|---|
| Creating and running your account, signing you in, and showing your dashboard, team and reports | Performance of our agreement with you |
| Crediting deposits, calculating incomes, and processing internal transfers and Yield Settlements to your wallet | Performance of our agreement with you |
| Answering tickets, contact-form messages and e-mails | Performance of our agreement, or our legitimate interest in answering enquiries |
| Sending service messages about your account (not marketing) | Performance of our agreement |
| Security: preventing fraud, abuse and unauthorised access, rate-limiting, and investigating incidents | Our legitimate interest in keeping the Platform and its members safe |
| Keeping accounting and transaction records and meeting legal obligations, including lawful requests from authorities | Legal obligation and legitimate interest |
| Showing aggregate statistics (for example total members, or members per country) that do not identify anyone | Legitimate interest |
| Assessing job applications | Steps taken at your request before an employment agreement |
5. What other members can see
Your wallet address is your public member ID. Your sponsor and upline can see your wallet address and name in their team and genealogy pages. Anyone who enters your wallet address as a sponsor or placement on the registration form, or as the receiver of a P2P transfer, is shown your name so they can confirm they have the right person. We do not show your e-mail address or mobile number to other members.
6. Public blockchains
Deposits and Yield Settlements are transactions on BNB Smart Chain. Blockchain transactions are public and permanent: anyone can see the wallet addresses, amounts and times involved. Neither we nor anyone else can change or delete them. Keep this in mind when you link a wallet to your identity.
7. Who we share data with
We share personal data only when it is needed for the purposes above:
- Service providers acting for us, such as website hosting, e-mail delivery and payment or payout processing. They may only use the data to provide their service to us.
- Blockchain networks, when a deposit or settlement is broadcast, as described in section 6.
- Authorities, courts or advisers, where the law requires it or where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims or to protect members from fraud.
- A successor business, if the Platform is reorganised, merged or transferred. Your data would remain protected under this policy.
The Website loads fonts from Google Fonts, and the member panel loads style libraries from the cdnjs content network (Cloudflare). Your browser therefore connects to those providers, which receive your IP address. They do not receive your account data. Links to third-party sites (for example mempool.space, Global Solar Atlas or wallet apps) are covered by those sites' own policies.
8. International transfers
Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.
9. How long we keep data
- Account and transaction records: for as long as your account exists, and afterwards for as long as needed for accounting, legal and dispute purposes.
- Support tickets and contact messages: for as long as needed to handle the request and keep a reasonable history.
- Server logs and security data: for a limited period, unless they are needed to investigate an incident.
- Job applications: for as long as needed for the recruitment process, and for a reasonable period afterwards for future roles unless you ask us to delete them.
10. Security
We use technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. These include signature-based sign-in without passwords, encrypted HTTPS connections, protection against cross-site request forgery, rate limits on sensitive actions, and restricted administrative access. No system is completely secure, so please protect your wallet, device and recovery phrase. We will never ask you for your recovery phrase or private key.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom), you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy of it;
- correct inaccurate data (profile details can be edited once in the member panel, and support can help with further corrections);
- ask us to delete data, unless we must keep it (for example transaction records required by law; blockchain records cannot be deleted by anyone);
- restrict or object to certain processing, including processing based on legitimate interests;
- receive data you gave us in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent;
- complain to your local data-protection supervisory authority.
To make a request, open a support ticket or e-mail support@volteraglobal.eu. We may ask you to prove that you control the wallet linked to the account, for example by signing a message, before we act on the request.
12. Children
The Platform is not intended for anyone under 18, or under the age of legal majority where they live. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has registered, contact us and we will close the account.
13. Cookies
We use only the cookies that are strictly necessary to run the Website: a session cookie and a security (CSRF) cookie. See our Cookie Policy for details.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the current version. Where a change is significant, we will make it visible on the Website or in the member panel.
15. Contact
For questions about this policy or your personal data, write to support@volteraglobal.eu, use the contact form, or open a support ticket in the member panel.
